Each diversion evaluation committee shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
(a)
To evaluate those licensees who request to participate in the diversion program according to the guidelines prescribed by the dental hygiene board and to consider the recommendations of any licensees designated by the dental hygiene board to serve as consultants on the admission of the licensee to the diversion program.
(b)
To review and designate those treatment facilities to which licensees in a diversion program may be referred.
(c)
To receive and review information concerning a licensee
participating in the program.
(d)
To consider in the case of each licensee participating in a program whether the licensee may safely continue or resume the practice of dental hygiene.
(e)
To perform other related duties as the dental hygiene board may by regulation require.
