(a)
Notwithstanding any other law, when a clinic applicant submits either type of application described in subdivision (b), the board shall issue a license or incorporate the reported changes, as appropriate, within 30 days of receipt of a completed application and payment of any prescribed fees.
(b)
This section applies to the following types of applications:
(1)
A new clinic license application filed under Section 4180.
(2)
Applications to report changes to an existing site licensed under Section 4180, including, but not limited to, changes in professional director, clinic
administrator, corporate officers, change of location, or change of address.
(c)
This section shall not be construed to limit the board’s authority to conduct an investigation to determine whether applicants and the premises for which an application is made qualify for a license.
