(a)
No employee of a licensee performing the function of an alarm agent who responds to alarm systems shall be issued a firearms qualification card until proper certification by the instructor that the course of training in the exercise of the power to arrest and the appropriate use of force has been taught, and the employee’s certification that the instruction was received, has been delivered to the department.
(b)
This section shall become operative on July 1, 2023.
