Summary

(a) “Amount financed” means the amount required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (7) of subdivision (c) of Section 1803.3. (b) “Unpaid balance” means the cash price of the goods or services which are the subject matter of the retail installment sale, plus the amounts, if any

(a)
“Amount financed” means the amount required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (7) of subdivision (c) of Section 1803.3.
(b)
“Unpaid balance” means the cash price of the goods or services which are the subject matter of the retail installment sale, plus the amounts, if any, included in a retail installment sale for insurance and official fees, minus the amount of the buyer’s downpayment in money or goods.
